Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. Churches from around the world will host Night to Shine on the same night for thousands of honored guests and we want you to be a part of it!
It is a night filled with music, dancing, food, karaoke, and other awesome activities.
Each guest will receive a crown or tiara, gift bag, and gift for a caregiver.

The event is open to anyone with physical or cognitive special needs, ages 14 and older. We do not have specific guidelines for the eligibility of guests in relation to the legitimacy or severity of their disabilities. If you have further questions about this, please contact us and we'll be happy to answer those questions.

Our honored guests must be 14 years old or older to register for Night to Shine. There is no upper age limit. BUDDIES must be at least 16 years old to accompany one of our honored guests. Volunteers as young as 14 years old are allowed to participate in other areas. Any volunteer age 14-16 must have a parent or guardian also volunteering at the event.

Night to Shine is FREE for guests to attend. We work with the Tim Tebow Foundation as well as many local business to cover the costs of putting on the event. If you or your business would like to contribute financially or with an in-kind donation, please visit the Donation and Sponsorship page for information.

We encourage our guests to get dressed up and make it a special night, but Dressing up is not required. Come dressed comfortably!
Many of our honored guests choose to wear semi-formal or formal attire if they have access to it. Gowns or dresses for the ladies and suits, tuxes, or shirt/vest/tie for gentlemen are most common.
Volunteers should be in black pants and black or white top, unless otherwise instructed.

Dates are NOT required. Each guest is assigned a Buddy to accompany them throughout the evening and assist them in enjoying the prom.

Parents and caretakers are invited to dinner in the Respite Room. They have a full meal and some entertainment so you can kick back and relax while those you care for are having the time of their lives.
Simply let us know the total number of meals needed when registering.
After the Respite Dinner, parents / guardians can go to the balcony to watch the prom.
For safety and security reasons, adults other than the screened New Life leaders & buddies are not allowed in the auditorium.

To protect our guests, volunteers this year should meet the following requirements:
• 14 yrs or older (14-16 must have a parent in the building during the event)
• have a background check / clearances

The show must go on—even if it snows!
We encourage our guests and leaders to use caution in traveling if the roads are snowy.
Due to the pre-purchase of food, souvenirs, etc. The event will be held regardless of weather.
